Has anyone tried to order AS&M runners lately? I ordered mine back in October and still haven't received them. Do they normally take 4+ months to get these out the door? This is the only thing holding my project back.

Unfortunately, the answer is yes. I was in on a group purchase for some AS&M runners several years ago. It took them 10 months to fill the orders. I quit after several months of waiting and went with a different intake. Many others did too.

 

10 months? Holy crap.

 

I must of been somewhat lucky... I ordered mine in December 2011 and got them late Feb 2012...

Wow, that's a great turn around. I just got off the phone with them; they still have no clue when they will be done. They are at the pipe bender right now, apparently.

 

They are the best aftermarket runner you can get for factory fit TPI components though.

I'm just going to borrow someone's to get my motor done.

 

It's a nice product, but production is slow. I got mine about 6 years ago. They happened to be in stock, so I got them in a few days. Unfortunately they were dented(which was probably why they were "on hand"), so I returned them. Took about 2 months to get the next set. Since then, people have been posting 6 months+ wait times.

With so many people opting for LT and LS swaps in the last few years, demand for these has probably slowed a lot. So apparently they wait until they have enough orders to "justify" a production run.

 

Oh, you actually have them? Do you have any pics of your motor?

 

I indeed have pics of when they were on my car. Now I have an LT1, so they are long gone.
