Hey thirdgeners was wondering if anyone has used a power steering pulley puller and could give me a review.

Re: Puller

I've used many different pullers, not any groundbreaking differences between them in terms of effectiveness. Lisle is my preferred brand for that kind of thing if I can find it but that is just because they used to be (maybe still are?) made in USA.

Given the relatively inexpensive nature of power steering pumps i would recommend just buying a whole new assembly.

With the pulley attached? I have not found a new (or rebuilt) pump sold with the pulley attached. Also, If I recall correctly, doesn't the pulley have to come off in order to get the mounting bracket off of it?

Re: Puller

OrangeBird you are right I have to get that pulley off or I will not be able to get my bracket. BigBlock73 thanks for the link, that is a nice puller!

doh! I had other vehicles on the brain (mostly Jeeps). Forgot that small blocks come without (or at least with it not attached).
