Holley Sniper fuel tank 19-542
Holley Sniper fuel tank 19-542
Has anyone used one of the Holley Sniper replacement fuel tanks? I was wondering if fit is any better than the previous replacement tanks and if there’s any internal baffling for the fuel pump. I see it’s a 16 gallon tank vs the previously available 14 gallon tanks so I assume that it’s a new design. I did contact Holley but the response didn’t address my questions.

Unsure about any Holley tank but Aeromotive makes a great drop in performance system for the 3rd gen. I've been running it for years and it's great.

All of the performance aspects of the Aeromotive system have been documented in other threads, but my concern is actual fitment of the tank. I’ve seen where the neck is off by up to 1.5 inches. Is this NOT an issue with this tank?

I don't think either company makes the actual tank. They all make the drop in parts only. The fuel neck is easy to bend a little. Mine was 1 in off. Now it's centered.

I have the tank, fit well. I haven't put the filler.plate back in around the filler neck yet but it looks to be spot on.
