Drive ability?

I have a 1989 RS that has been converted to a 355 with a T 56 transmission. The blocking heads are out of a 1997 for fuel delivery. I’ve deleted the factory center and I’m using a 4 to 7 psi electric pump on the frame rail. The car runs great for about 10 minutes then it will shut off and I have to set for 10 minutes to restart it once restart it. It’ll only run a mile or so before it does the same thing over and over again any thoughts?

sorry, I was trying to say that the pump in the tank has been deleted and I’m running a 4 to 6 psi electric pump. The block and heads are out of a 97 5.7 the carburetor is an elder Brock 1406

Re: Drive ability?

I’m wondering if I need a return line or if I’m having a vapor lock issue since I’m dead heading at the carburetor from the electric pump on the frame I don’t have any kind of return and the fuel line runs up pretty close to the headers

When it fails to start does adding a bit of fuel directly into the carburetor bores allow it to start and run for a few seconds?
