i am looking for a shifter **** not the whole thing but just the ****

 

the hurst ***** fit either their auto or standard shifters. they make 2 thread sizes 3/8 or 7/16 fine thread.

well do you know of any shifter ***** that fit a 700r4 cause i hate the stock one

 

Only stock ***** will fit a stock shifter. Which style **** do you have?

There were 3 or 4 different styles of **** on the Camaro and Firebird, you might be able to find a stock one that you like better.

 

would they have something like that at the salvage yard?

 

That would probably be the best place to look, try to find different years and models of F-bodies and see if any of them have a **** you like that might fit your shifter. If you do find one you like that wont fit, you can always take the entire shifter and swap it into your car, as long as both cars have a 700R4.
