TPI ready to be installed!! problem though!!!!!

hello everybody,
The Tuned port is ready to be installed and if u read my modification than u know i cant wait to get it at the track. Anyway we put all parts together and i cant take it the stock injectors dont seem in good condition. I dont wanna spend $500.00 on injectors so ive seen in summit ford racing 19lb injectors and i ordered it i finally got it but before i install it have any of u installed it on you tuned port and have u ever had any problems. The tech department wasnt much help so thats why im asking u guys. Is it computer compatible, will they fit and finally i heard they have a different spray pattern. I know i dont make sense but i just want to know r the injector a good idea for my TPI(19lb injectors is what i want). I hope they fit in the edelbock intake manifold.

thank u

This is what I know about the Ford injectors. They will fit into your manifold and should have no problem complying with your ECM. There is no way to connect the harness to the injectors as far as I know, but most people say that it's not a problem. I don't know if you bought the injectors or not yet, but if now why don't you splurge for the 24#'s?

19 lb/hr injectors are perfect for a 305. You should have no problems with them.

If you have a 305, you should use either 19#/hr or 20#/hr injectors. The SVO injectors should work fine. I hope that you mean that you bought 19s, not 24s!

IMO, you should install an AFPR while you still have the TPI apart.

Harness wont fit injectors? The connector is the same. Ive ran SVO 24# and 30# both. They work just fine. I am running 30# with my Mini Ram right now without a problem.

I ordered the 19 lb injectors and what i meant was i plan on ordering painless wiring for my engine harness and people have told me that the painless wiring suck. The whole motor is modified thats why im so concerned wit putting new injectors.

It's not that the harness doesn't fit, I've just heard that there is no provision for the metal clip that retains the connector onto the injector.
