Ebay!

Gotta love ebay!!! and when you find a buyer who does not know what they have heres my story!

I am getting the LT1 intake done by lt1intake.com, well its $200 if you supply the intake, or $400 if the supply it. Now LT1 intake with fuel rails go for around $200 or more, so it wouldnt save me any money to buy one and send to him. But I decided to look on ebay anyway.

I saw one with 0 bids for $25.00, I e-mailed and asked his price to end early, he told me $80+ shipping and its mine, now by the time he responded it had 7 Bids and was at like 40 sum bucks, by the time I replied to him it was up to 10 Bids and $77 with 4 days left.

Well he ended early for me at $100 + Shipping, and that was for the LT1 manifold including fuel rails

I got 2 power window motors, Iroc front 36mm and rear 1LE sway, 8 24Lb injectors, and a TPI Intake W/wiring harness for about $500. Where else you gonna get a Hella good deal like that?...

Why do TPI runners, or plenums and such go for like 80-200, but you can get an LT1 intake, which is complete, manifold to rails for around $200,,,in my case $100

Ive been looking for parts for my 91 Formul on ebay since I bought it about 6 months ago. So far all I have bought is a set of door sills( the driver side on my car was cracked), for $35 including shipping. This was reasonable but not amazing. I almost never see any of the parts I am looking for on there. I usually do a search for "82-92". I get tons of the same crap, plenum extensions, dash pads, door handles, ttop bags, blah blah blah. Occasionaly I have seen headers on there and I almost bought a set of new TES headers. They went for about $45 less than list with a jillion bids. In my opinion saving $45 on a $350 item is not even worth the risk, compared to buying it new, with a credit card, over the phone from Jegs or Summit. Ive never seen a catback system, cams, heads, throttle bodies, CAI systems from SLP, adjustable fuel regulator, runners, etc on there. Isn't there another source for these used parts besides Ebay? What do you guys put in for search string? maybe im doing it wrong

Ive looked damn near every day for 6 months.
