UnderDogRS
Well, a long while back, I sent UnderDogRS (Alex Newman) some money for an LT1 cam, intake manifold, TBI-Carb adaptor plate.
Well, I sent him the money and he said he had got it on Thursday, February 21 2002.
Now, to the normal person, I would assume that they would expect the parts to arrive within a reasonable ammount of time.
He said he had to use the money for a cam swap, so he would send the parts after that was done, well. I don't think it takes 4 months to do a cam swap.
Alex told me he had the cam swap done on Friday March 22 2002.
So I was all...woohoo, parts should be here in 2 weeks max.
NO!
That was the last I have heard from him. I have since that date called him to see what was up with this. He told me he had given the parts to his girlfriend to ship for him. That was probably 1-2 months ago.
I have been told by a few guys on this board that Alex is a trustworthy guy, and that they got what they had bought from him in a reasonable amount of time.
Well, I just want to let you guys know, that this has happend, and that...either he just took my money and is not sending me jack! or else, he is just really slow.:lala:
Sorry Alex, but as soon as I find a box on my doorstep that is nice and heavy, which contains an intake manifold, cam, and TBI adaptor plate, I will keep this post up. Or, unless a modorator takes it down.
Please, if anyone talks to him, or knows him. Could you please tell him to take 30min to an hour out of his life so he can cram some stuff in a box and send it on its merry way?
Thank you.

if you are talking about the alex in florida that i know and have met, then his aol name is zander0710. i'm pretty sure it is because he told me about how he had the cam sold in his car to someone so he could do the swap first.

Yeah, I'm supposed to be the guy he sold it to. I could post up everything he said. But, as far as I know, he has been done with the cam swap since late March. If it was done then....where is the cam?
Well, I've found him on a few other boards. I am just going to keep hunting him down until I get a responce, or a nice big box in front of me.

Well, still no responce from him yet. I have started the task of sending him a daily email. Hopefully he will get a reminder sooner or later.

That really sucks to hear what you are going through with that guy. As far as I'm concerned, if you can't ship your parts out right away after payment, you shouldn't be selling parts online in the first place. I sold a shift kit to a member here a few weeks ago and I felt bad cause I sent it out two days after I recieved payment instead of the next day. Some people just don't realize that other people have timely plans also with the parts they are expecting.

Well, I got a responce from him a day ago. He said he will try to figure out what is going on. I cut him a lot of slack cause he told me he's goin through a lot of crap right now. So I am not in a hurry...but I just don't want to get jacked on this deal. My plans are hopefully going to take place next summer when I have the money to do it, but until then, I just don't want to have to worry about keeping track of this at the same time as doing a bunch of other things. I am sure he will also be glad when this is all resolved because I have sent him a load of emails.
Anyway, I will be finding out more in the future. I am not trying to discourage anyone from buying from UnderDogRS in the future. I just want him to know that it has been a long time, and that we both need to get this thing taken care of.

Well, I guess UPS lost the parts. Or at least that's what UnderDogRS told me. So, he said that he had got insurance on it. So, he said her would be sending me the money for it. It has been about a month now and I have not recieved any money in the mail. mrr23 has helped me out in communicating with UnderDogRS a little and from the looks of things I will just have to realize that I was screwed.
I'm about to give up on this because itis a complete waste of my time and the $230 I sent to him for the parts. Luckly I got let go from my job and actually need the money back.
So I guess buying parts and working on the motor will have to be set back by a lot longer since I was getting a pretty good deal from UNderDogRS. So now I'm going to be spending about $450 on the intake, cam and adaptor plate instead of the $230 I could have got them for
Or at least that is what it is going to seem like.

delete please
Hey moderators... I guess I don't have the ability to delete posts I start. Anyway, someone can delete this if they choose.
The problem has been dealt with and things are corrected.
I would like to report that UnderDogRS seems to be a decent person to conduct buisiness with.
Thank you

Ha! I don't know what is going on, but nothing has shown up at my house as of today.... Oct. 8th 2002
I have just promised never to buy anything from someone over the internet or anything without speaking to them in person.
Also, it seems that Alex has moved. I tried calling you and it says that the number is no longer in service. The operator or whatever that person talk is...gave a different number.. I said screw it! This stuff is hardly worth my time any more.
UnderDog...if you get this, send me an email or something. I need to talk to you.
