If thats the shop in Cali, stay away.Years ago i've heard lots of bad things about that shop,eg. quality control
do you know of a good place that will have one for about the same price

Dont know how much they are, but you can get a ZZ4 Shortblock thats new with a 4 bolt mains and a forged steel crank for about $1,800.what exactally are you looking for ?
just a basic shortblock, even if i have to put it together, somethin with quality parts and and hypereutetic pistons. does p.a.w have good engines

Yea, with P.A.W. you can order just about any type of rotating assembly you want. You should be able to do something nice for about $900-1100......
