Firstly, I decide to give them a call about the T56. No big deal, they are the only ones that supply an actual conversion kit w/ the cross member for our cars.
So anyways, I call them up.
a rep answers the phone:
rep: "hello blah blah"]
me: "this is Matt, I'm just wondering if you have any T56 conversion setups and what years do you guys have w/ how many miles"
rep: "hold on a sec"
after being on the worse static infested radio hold ever for at least 5 min.
another rep answeres' the phone
another rep: "Hello"
me: Yeah I was wondering if you guys have any T56 conversion kits for sale and what years you guys have.
another rep: "we don't have any"
and then silence... not what a -what are you looking for, Not a call us back in a week NOTHING so i go
me: Okay.... well thanx
another rep: bye
me: bye
WHAT THE ****! THEY WILL NEVER HAVE MY TESTIMONIAL. I NEVER SPOKEN TO A BUSINESS THAT WAS SO ****ED UP

When i talked to them last week about my bumper and lower air dam, they were nothing but nice. I really dont see the problem you had with them except they didnt have what you wished for.

They WERE NOT HELPFUL ONE BIT.
The tone was rude. ... almost as if i was bothering him for answering the phone.

Let's just say as a potential customer i was not satisfied w/ the customer service.

I called speed automotive and will call them back shortly, they did not have the conversion kit either... but they did say if you are interested let us know and we will find one for you. they were both curtious and everything. Not only that, he asked us me to give them a call back if you can't find one.
So now I will.
w/ service from thirdgenresource, they will never get an endorsement from me. EVER.

 

Dude, go with speed auto. I got my kit through them and was very pleased. Scott is a very nice guy and will answer any questions you have. It took him a week or two to get me one, but I got it and the service was great.

 

Called them up today. Should have it next friday.

 

the first year of ordering from third gen res was so so, as in when they finally pulled there head out, I would eventually get what I ordered. This year I have placed 3 orders so far and have recieved nothing to date.The first order being in Jan....paid with credit card ...payment went through..ect....I call to see whats up, several several times and no one seems to no anything if it aint in front of there face, and if it is they still act rude and ignorant (maybe not an act). but the response is always one of the following.( 1 ).we'll call you back later today or tommarrow at the latest ( 2 ).it has been shipped..( 3 ).its right in front of me, im prepping it for ship as we speak. Every time I say I want a freakin refund. I ordered one somewhere else and have recieved and installed it because the one I ordered from youhas yet to arrive. And this is with all 3 orders placed this year.Over the past 2 years I have placed roughly $4000 in orders from them. The more I placed the more they slacked off. But still orders placed in Jan to april have still not been recieved .Have been paid for, want a refund, they play stupid. So Third Gen Resourse in my book SUCKS A--!!!!!! I ordered from Hawks and got it less than week later

 

I totally agree and back you up! I ordered a cold air induction oh, about a month ago......still nothing. I ordered some air ducts from Hawk's and it was here the next week. What's up with that. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only person this is happening to. So I could expect to have my cold air in about another month or so, if even that?

 

I ordered an aludistcover and i had the package sent to me in 17 days. Not bad since theres a long way to Sweden. I have never had any problems with them.
