theres a place on ebay selling the canvas tops, stayfast i believe is the brandname, the seller is actually topsonline i think.they go for about $259.00 ,the only thing is you have to send some measurements to them to insure you get the right top. the have a diagram on the auctions on how to measure. i have posted the same question a few months back, but in the parts wanted section in the classifides area on this board, i got at least 5 replys from vendors that sell tops and the prices were not to bad either.like you i need a top on my car,so i am saving up ,fortunatly i have a portable garage i keep my vert in to keep it out of the weather.are you planning on putting the top on yourself? i am planning on doing mine and i have a whole webpage downloaded on how to do it if your interested. good luck

Putting a new top in is not an easy task. I had a local shop do it for me. $450.00 out the door and that included the new top.

I actually got a new top from topsonline.com. It was the Stayfast Canvas with glass rear window. The cheapo vinyl they sell is $175, the vinyl with glass is $325, and the Regular stock looking canvas with plastic window is $300. I paid $400 for the canvas and glass and my really nice professional install was $300. I am pretty happy with the results. Everything is much nicer, tighter, and there is less wind noise and noise from the top frame. If you lived in north cal I could give you the number of a really good shop that did mine. Well, I shouldn't say I paid for it, actually the kid who got caught trying to break into my cars parent's paid for it
and my alarm and a little extra on the side.

The price you guys are paid to have your tops put on is not bad at all.i live in rock hill sc and there are two shops in town that do convertible tops, one quoted me $900.00 and the other was around $950.00.now that is with them supplying the top.i have seen the stayfast canvas with the plastic window for around $300.00 i just cant believe that these places would charge $600.00 or better for labor. Then of course there are your friends who knows this guy that has a shop, that can do it ,until you start questioning as to when ,then all of a sudden they are way to busy.If any one knows of a good shop that won't charge $500.00 to put a top on in the rock hill charlotte area, let me know . i am afraid i might have to try to tackle this my self.
