Re: scotthansendotnet - custom eprom chips

I just had my PROM done by him last month. Awesome experience. I called Scott on a Friday afternoon and didn't get him so I left a message. He called me back within 15 minutes and we went over the specs of my car, and what I wanted done. Half hour after I got off the phone with him I had my PROM boxed up, and I was in line at the post office. I mailed the PROM to him on Friday, he received it Monday, and I had it back and reinstalled in my car on Wednesday. There was a noticeable improvement all around in the way the car runs, and the car is definitely making some more power. You don't have anything to worry about.

Bookmarked.
That's a really good website for folks like me who are keeping OEM fuel injection harness/ECM etc. and putting in a new engine with major mod's.
Thanks for posting!

Hmmm, gonna do you a flavor and not flame you. Maybe your public water supply is to blame...

I see he notes issues with bosch d3's...

Wonder if he can tune around them or what. I sent him a quick email to see what was up there. I have them currently and always wondered if they were an issue.

Scott is currently working with me in regards to the bosch injectors. Quick response.

Re: scotthansendotnet - custom eprom chips

He did my Vortec head and cam speed density tune using those Bosch injectors and it was damn near perfect on the first tune. I datalogged some run time and he tweaked it to final tune and it gave me my car back.
Till then I wasted time with 2 other chip tuners who couldn't help for whatever reasons, but I had a car that couldn't get out of the garage till it went into CL operation and then it bucked and snorted through 1st and 2nd.

I was so bummed about the first couple chips that I was ready to drop the worn out TPI 305 back in so I could at least drive like a normal person.

Like was mentioned here, I spent a few minutes on the phone with him and 3 days later I fired the car up and drove it away like it was off the showroom floor, no bucking, stalling or weirdness at all.

I don't know if it was the speed density tune that the other chip guys couldn't get right or what, but Scott saved my 355 Vortec TPI build from being a failure.
