HSR guys
Which way does your AFPR face? I had mine with the screw facing inward for quite some time and always had a pain in the *** trying to adjust it. I've since switched it around for the adjustment screw to face outwards and it works a million time better. Figured I'd put this out there for people looking on installation tips. Opinions?

I installed it with the screw facing outward. It made installing the fuel lines a bit harder, but it sure makes tuning a lot easier!!! I don't care what Holley says in their installation, the writer probably never installed and tuned one set up with the screw inboard...

i saw this same thing on another web forum. I just got the HSR, and hope to put it on in the next month(when i can affoard the fuel lines and all). Ill make sure to remeber to have the screw facing out.
IANSANE, did you get a noticle difference in the seat of your pants with the HSR on a stock 305? The only thing i got is my own custom CAI. I'm just curious to see if i actually feal anything.

I can't really comment on the hsr difference between stock. I put in the t56 from the auto and had problems, the car sat for a few months up on stands so I put the HSR on. I barely remember what driving the car was like, sorry.

Just to add more information in this thread: My Holley regulator was junk, it wouldnt adjust over 35psi...and I later discovered it is a pretty common problem. Just a heads-up, in fact, I wouldnt even buy the Holley piece, there are others out there that will fit.

Does that regulator bolt straight up the rails? I would be intersted in using it if is a straight replacement and doesn't require new holes. Let me know. I am using braid hose so that doesn't matter, it will flex to fit where it needs to. Thanks.

Sure.
Yes, it mounts exactly the same as Holleys, you can use the same spacers that came with the HSR rails. Just ignore the washers under the bolt heads on mine...I lost the original bolts and couldnt find the correct length. I used the same brass outlet fitting that came with the Holley reg., so the fuel line routing is virtually identical.
