LT1 intake cooling hose routing
Someone asked me about this and ya know, I didn't have an answer. I know about the remote stat, and I know John puts the 2 cooling holes in the back, but how do they all route together???

The coolant fittings in the rear of the LT1 intake conversion both need to have hose routed to the remote thermostat housing so the hot coolant can get back to the top of the radiator.
A diagram is on my website.

Has anybody tried using stainless coolant piping?
Has anybody tried using stainless coolant piping? I think that a couple nice 1/2" or 5/8" polished stainless pipes running from the rear of the intake to the front where the remote housing is mounted would look GREAT! It would clean up this conversion quite a bit.
I planned to use 90 degree elbows off the back of the intake and run the coolant hoses along the lower inside area of both valve covers. I got the idea when I was looking at some GM vehicles and how they utilize steel coolant piping and thought POLISHED STAINLESS would look great instead of hoses.
I think my stumbling block is joining the pipes with the fittings and the remote housing.
Any thoughts?
