I did a search and saw where this has been asked but I have never found any numbers posted. What did you guys torque the plenum to runner bolts and plenum lid bolts down to?

I checked my '87 shop manual and an old hardcopy from this site, the torque for manifold to runner bolts is 25 ft-lbf. I would use blue thread lockers on all runner bolts, top & bottom). These bolts at 25 ft-lbf can came loose, so the thread locker is a good idea to prevent air leaks after a few months use.
Personaly, I use 30 ft-lbf.

I got my dad a shop manual for x-mas and I read through that too. I torqued the lower runner bolts to 25 ftlb. I was mainly wondering about the runners to plenum and plenum to lid. I just used a wrench on the plenum and snugged them up as much as I felt comfortable without stripping them. I noticed that the gasked is compressed uniformly so I figured that was good enough. We'll see how it runs.

I think that you did a good job. With the SR, the runner to plenum screws go in from the bottom, and they are small screws. These are as you said nicely snug. You need to have a good feel for this stuff. Having the screws go in from the bottom, the most important issue is getting the screws started right, no cross threading.
And the same for the thousand screws that hold down the plenum plate! nicely snug.
EDIT: BTW, I use allen head bolts for the runner to intake bolts. I bought a rounded hex end allen wrench so that I can go at an angle to get pass the couple rockers arms which seem to be in the way.
