You had already paid money on a great intake and had the whole system in place, and the basics of prom tuning are so easy, they seem intimidating at first but once you get into it, you realize how simple it really is.

in less time than it takes you to do a carb swap and tune the thing you could have learned the basics of tuning and had your car running well.

honestly adjusting where vacuum secondaries kick in on the dizzy for a carb is every bit as complicated as spark tuning for a fuel injected car, and adjusting the fuel curve is far from rocket science

but regardless hope your car runs well

Its a shame that choice words are filtered out from this forum. I think I could accurately describe the people who talked him into going carb.
