Good find. Looks like the vendors that were selling it are all out of stock. Maybe its been discontinued. Weak.

go with the one Kaires has in this thread:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/alte...anifold-5.html
If you notice it even has a divider in it, and for 120 bucks you cant beat it!
now, if you want to stick with TPI TB, goto http://6061.com and Aaron can make you one. But it will probably cost you more than the Eldebrock and an LS1 TB together.

Found another in my searches, am kinda exhausted of now.. This one looks like it would be good, but the 315 price tag is still to rich I think.

Looking into a 79 Cadilliac coupe Deville 2 door. Its got a 425 ci, but I dunno, maybe it might find a way in the garage.
Id love to have an 11 second boat anchor.

6061 wont make them, I already asked when I had Aaron do my intake. He only does LSx tb's since he does not have the pattern for the TPI style bolt spacing.

Will be heading down that path myself I guess, might make out of metal through being I can not aluminum weld.. Worth a try I think, Figured it would be worth if paying 1 maybe $200, but looking to build I think as well.

See if Jeff feels confident to give it a try. I know he was practicing his aluminum welding last year.
He charged me 120 to do the welding on my turbo manifolds so an elbow should be easier to do, even tho it is aluminum and not mild steel.

I cant weld anything so it was not much of a decision to make. Went with aluminum right off the bat. I have a mill so I was able to cut the plates and bore the holes at home, still have to cut and fit the elbow and then have it welded up. I'll post some pictures sometime.

This is where I am at right now, still have not cut the elbow (just got home) but I'll do that in the next couple days. I guess we still need to tap the holes in the TB plate as well, and we're making a bracket for the throttle cable bracket we're gonna steal off the TPI plenum.

Tom, just curious why your ditching the miniram? Think its holding you back? Still cant find anyone to port it? Has anyone ported your hurricane intake?

Ran into a slight hitch on my project.
I finally cut the tubing after figuring out how to hold it in place not using my hands and make the cut. As I figured, it did not form as well as I would have liked at the base plate, but it'll work out ok once its welded up. However... when I got the tubing I measured it. It was supposed to be 4" ID. I suspected it may come in at some variance to that, but not as much as it was. It was 3.985 OD +/- (was not totally round) and as such, the very close fit (on Autocad) of the oval end to my TB plate is not even close with the smaller tube.

So I'm going to try and locate a tube/pipe expander I can make work or maybe have someone do that to it for me and expand it out about 1/4" larger than it is now. Then it should be big enough to fit or at least close enough I can deal with it with a sanding roll once its all welded up.
