OK, This is what I'm thinking; I have a set of fuel rails (the billet china ones) for an SBC I got for $35 via ebay. I am thinking epoxy and 14mm flange bearings for the bungs. Besides that I am thinking about using the channel below to make a box upper, then a plate of aluminum on top. I am thinking it would be about 150 bucks in all to do this, then use the Vortec TB to feed it from the top. This isn't a clearance issue in my vehicle, as it's not a third gen. I think that the performance would be better as the fuel rails being straight up would keep the flow in the intake good which the spider doesn't. I think there will have to be a bit of clearancing along the way, but nothing terrible. Probably just some spots for the ends of the rails.
