Thanks. I'll keep it in mind. I have a set of Accel rails I'm going to try and use first though.

Re: stealth ram alternative fuel rails?

Interesting topic on the fuel rails. $80 for the fuel rails + a good FPR = $100+. Thats already $180 plus the fittings and lines. Thats already in the $200's. I think the best route would be to just buy the Holley fuel rail. Good luck on the non-adjustable FPR. I havent seen one for sale in a while.

I disagree. If you would have read this thread you would have seen that I paid $65 for the fuel rails shipped to my door, picked up a brand new Holley afpr still in the package for $90 shipped. As far as fittings and lines you need to purchase those items for the Holley rails also. So leaving that out my total cost was $155. Holley rails purchased from summit or jegs $270 after shipping. Also I posted mockup pics in this thread. And btw, i'll be able to get to my afpr without removing the plenum!

Change of plans. I'm putting the stealth ram on the vette headed 350. Putting it on a hot cammed 305 seems like a waste of time.

I noticed that. I got way ahead of myself. So is there a complete list of all the parts you purchased to make your fuel system possible?

Problem is you are paying for a Holley reg known for problems that you may have to replace at a later date ( at extra cost ) so you may as well start with a good AFPR

Thanks man. All that was included was just the plenum, the base, and a set of LT1 injectors. The COOL part is that the plenum is already glossy red. Which is a good match to the fuel rails that I'm gonna get.

I picked up this one brand new in the package off another member for $90 shipped. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/hly-512-504-5

Try posting in the parts wanted section for one or you could be the guinea pig on this one.

That's right. I do remember you mentioned that you struck a good deal with a member. I checked out that link you provided and it seems like the item has ended.

Re: stealth ram alternative fuel rails?

It's probably not worth it anyway. When I was looking for one it was $75. It's now $85 and doesn't include fittings. Add those on and for the money you could buy something better.

Some are having issues with holley Adj regulators, so a popular upgrade is buick grand national reg by kirban which is billet aluminum and fits the rails fine. 110 bucks or so last i heard. Could buy holley kit with non adjustable reg and upgrade to kirban
One issue that I came across is that the Kirban FPR will not fit if you have tall valve covers. A friend of mine suggested to do a remote mount. Im so close to buying me the PP fuel rail and the Kirban FPR, but Im not too sure about all the other fittings needed. I cant use the small valve covers because Im gonna be installing some bulky aluminum roller rockers, which wont clear the stock valve covers. I thought I saw a FPR mounted to the front passenger side of a fuel rail, but I cant find that picture.

The list of parts I posted is for a remote mount setup. The pic your looking for is in this thread.

Singleplane EFI is what most fast guys run.

Do some searching you will find your answers.

Re: stealth ram alternative fuel rails?

Jas2730, is there any mounting holes below the fuel rail such as the HSR rails?

Yes and they line up with the stealth ram but the bolts they provide are too long and are metric so they won't work.

Do have a AFPR picked out yet? Also you can see what I was talking about with the bolts they send in the mockup pics at the top of this page.

No AFPR yet, but I am getting that GN Kirban one. Yeah I noticed that the bolts where wrong. But I should of made myself more clearer. Does the rail have the 2 holes to mount the AFPR on the underside of the rails, on the driver side?

I don't believe so. I'll check when I get home from work.

They do not have mounting holes for that style AFPR.

Did you get any more info from the seller on that fpr. I saw that the description was pretty vague.
