Stealth ram best fuel rail
What is the best fuel rail to use with the Stealth ram intake. The one they recommend has some shortcomings.I am redoing the motor in my 89 Z28 and replacing the Accel Super ram with the Stealth ram and a swap from the 700R4 to a T56 manual.

I have heard the mounting holes need to be drilled out so they align with the base.
I think these are pro comp rails. With a 89-92 tb the linkage might hit the crossover fitting.

It would be cheaper to modify the pro comp rails with a external regulator. I have modified the tpi regulator to npt and made a bracket to use with the hsr on the linked thread but the images are no longer hosted.

Re: Stealth ram best fuel rail
All the links to the fuel rails are dead, we need to source these in a F.A.Q, it's been long enough, this is by far the best "OUT OF THE BOX" intake HP upgrade for TPI hands down besides the "FIRST" setup.
Both need a separate top pinned F.A.Q with links for rails etc. Especially since Holley went (NUTS) on the price of their fuel rails.

Why wouldn't you use the Holley fuel rail kit made for the stealth ram??

Re: Stealth ram best fuel rail
Because at $300.00+, why would you wish to when you can get 2 rails elsewhere at say 125-150, and 10 bucks in "BRASS FITTINGS" at a hardware store to make it work? Heck why wouldn't you at (HALF THE PRICE)?!?
Not to mention, many of us have an external fuel pressure regulator like Aeromotive etc, that is farr better, so i wouldn't even need that regulator and thus i would just cut that off the rail and re-tap for a proper 6an fitting. I can make that crossover pipe with a copper pipe and a flaring tool where i do HVAC, or i can get a different material like the stainless they want 100+ for!! Yeah, Holley asks 100 bucks for that shitty little crossover pipe! NO JOKE!!
It's silly, for some "FUEL RAILS"!! $300.00+ bucks?!? When these damn RUSTANGS have 30+ MFG's offering their stuff cheaper than dirt heck even Holley makes stuff for LSX's dirt cheap yet wants to jack up prices on gen 1 SBC stuff?!? It's BS, and you never "REWARD" such ignorance and price gouging behavior when it comes to these aftermarket companies!!!
