Atomic EFI
Hey all,
So I'm currently trying to figure out where I plan to go with my 1986 T/A. It is a 350 sbc (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/n...make/chevrolet) with 305 parts transferred over. It has a carburetor but I am considering EFI. However, the Atomic system is the only one that is allowed in the state of California for smog.
Does anyone have any experience with the system? How does it run? How difficult was installation? Any problems with the system (during/ after installation)? Did you see an improvement in MPG , power, or torque, and if so, how much?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Mr.Blu

Re: Atomic EFI
Well technically you could install the 1986 Tuned Port Injection and go to the ref. As long as it's done correctly. That was a factory option for 86 (or 87 to 92 for that matter) and would qualify as an engine swap to the L98.
