how about this system

http://www.jegs.com/i/Edelbrock/350/...60#moreDetails

I'm wondering how well it performs? I am planning on putting it on a 383 stroker matched with the stock 700r4.

What do you guys think?

I had this posted in the carb forum at first but i think it belongs here more...(didnt realize this was here)

Re: how about this system

One thing that attracted me was the touch screen system, being able to adjust on the fly without a computer laying around.

Is it possible to connect a tablet or touch screen in the dash to the DFI system?

Have you considered a Holley Advenger/HP system? It has an optional touchscreen for live tuning.

I like the look of the avenger mpfi units, though to be honest I know very little of efi systems

But once you have it tuned correctly why would you need to adjust it on the fly?
Just something kool ( and expensive ) to show your buddy's , even if you don't how how or why to use it

In any case this $175 unit
http://www.moates.net/ostrich-20-the....html?cPath=64

will do the same off a laptop using the stock ECM and free tuning software
So what are you getting for the other $2000 ?

I like that Edelbrock system, I've talked to their engineers at length.

But that Accel has far more features than the Edelbrock, far more.
And I agree with the rest, the touch screen is cool but once it's tuned you don't need it.
