Carb'd intake to EFI

A year ago I wanted to switch to full EFI
I had a Holley HP with coil near plug, but still ran a carb.
Also got the Holley Can module, to add another 8 inputs/8 outputs.

I looked around for a used EFI intake for a SBC. Hard to come by or super expensive.
So I took my Edlebrock 2970 SBC intake to my preferred machine shop and they converted it.
The intake already has injector bosses on it, so they drilled the holes.
Then cut the rails to length, then made up rail stands.

I bought a knock off Holley 102mm throttle body, and bought a holley elbow.
Got them powder coated as well.

This pic is with the TB upside down, to see if it would fit under the hood

It did fit under my 4" cowl hood, so I flipped it the proper way.
Had a to fab up a throttle cable from another car, but it works.

Also got Bosch 210 injectors.

The finished product .

Eventually I'm going boosted of some sort

How are you doing the coil on plug/getting rid of the distributor?

I'm using a crank trigger from MSD, pretty sure this is it

Then a cam sync

Then a Holley HP, not sure if a Holley Sniper would work

Re: Carb'd intake to EFI

why not a 4150 'carb' style throttle body?
i bet you lose 3 to 4 inches of hood clearance that way.

Smoother flow path and better air distribution with forced induction. None of the 'hats' for 4150 style carbs work well with tight 90* bends.

Re: Carb'd intake to EFI

I had my intake (4500) from my previous carb combo, so I used it.
