I'm painting my 84 Z-28 and i was looking for some sharp looking suggestions. Someone help me out please.

 

Do a search for 86fyrbrd, I love his paint color, but I also like red and black too.

 

Go with any of the House of Kolors paints. I can't recommend that paint enough. You can see the candy apple red over silver metallic in my SIG. if I was you i would look into their Rootbeer color or any one of the Dark Purple. I love those colors. everyone of their paints come in different shades also.

 

DAMN!!! Can you people not search the boards. This post his come up 5 times in the last 2 weeks! Search search seeeeeeeeeaaaaaarrrch.

And no....I'm not going to chill out!

 

In his defense he only has 2 posts, I know I didn't figure out there was a search button right away.
But also having a pic of your car would help in picking a color.

Its pepper grey metallic, the color of eleanor in Gone in 60. The dupont fleet code is 44490.

 

This is an aight color....least untill i can go back original with it....

 

Just wondering any plans for new wheels, that's a bit much of red.

well the wheels are gonna have to stay like that for awhile. When i got the car it was white with white wheels but the paint was bad....soo i gotta good $$ deal on a paint job and it looks alot better with bodymatched wheels than white on red lol. But trans, exhaust, susp, interior, motor, then finally back to med maui blue metallic with some nice 17 inch chrome. i think it looks ok though...blackouts helped it out too.

 

I like Red on My bird. But if I had to go with a different color I would paint it the same as No4NJunk's car.
