IROC spoiler on a GTA?

Would it be possible to put a IROC spoiler on a 87 GTA? How would it look? Pics? Thanks!

I wouldnt do it cause the wrap around spoiler is one of the things that makes a GTA a GTA. The IROC spoilers dont seem to go well with the body lines of the birds, birds "look" to have a wider rear section, even though theyre the same on both birds and 'maros.

yea but maybe the gta/formula spoiler he has is cracked or somthing and doesnt want to pay 500 for a new one, mine is cracked on my Formula so I just took the spoiler that they put on the base firebird and am going to mount it on my car..

I took it off a 91 v6 bird..

I wouldn't do it. The pieces that belong on them look better IMO.

I wouldn't do it either.. the wraparound spoiler is much better.

wraparound is the way to go. I used to want the iroc spoiler ooops high rise on my car but i saw it in person. thought it looked tacky. No flames please

ok, i guess i'll stick with the wrap around i have on it. It is cracking very badly and the previous owner had left it in the weather so its kinda warped too. I even had it primered with flexible primer but when i installed it it still has huge stress cracks. I'm gonna keep this one till the rest of the car is about done then buy a fiberglass one.

Robert_87 Gta. When you said iroc spoiler i assume you are reffering to the 3 piece. It would not mount to the back of a gta/ta. The camaro's have different rear quarter panel sections aroun the lights than the firebirds. The camaro spoiler end sections wouldn't bolt up.

Yeah, they are different. Look when Zepher put the Z28 spoiler on his car, it didn't fit like on a Camaro, correct??

Zepher's firebird's *** is wider than a camaro's. Awesome car though. The 91-92 high rise Z28 will bolt on, but i meant that any of the 3 piece spoilers from 82-90 won't even bolt to the sides of the firebird
