17" or 18" TT II's??

Ok after looking at a bunch of different rms ive decided to go with the TT II's now should i get 17 or 18"??? and i like when the tires look really wide but not so far that they stick out from the body too far so what width should i get i was thinking 9.5 but i dont know also i was thinking possibly 17" rims but im probably not gonna lower the car an i think the 18's ould fill the wheel well better, what do you guys think???

I'd like the 17s better because its got a little more sidewall. Anyway, here are the 16s:

18's would fill the fenderwell more but you'd have rubberbands for tires and your car would look like it was on stilts if you don't lower it. I think 17's will give you a better overall look and better reliability. If you go 17x9.5 I'd get a 275/40ZR-17 tire and if you wanna go 17x8 you could fit a 255/40ZR-17. Either will give a nice look with great handling.

17's kick ***. Tall enough to look good, enough sidewall to punch off 2.0 60's in full street trim....

By the way, mine isnt lowered. Yet.

Yep, 17's are the way to go. And once you lower it, the rims look bigger on our cars. Hey Adam, once you lower it, taht thing will look even more bad ***, it's looking sweet. Imagine if you had 18's on it, it would look like it's ready to go off-roading, lol. The 17's give it a nice touch, very nice.

On my '91 RS, 1" lowering springs were about all it needed. Any more and there would have been tire rub issues.
