what color should i paint it?

Well, MAACO is offering their $229 paint special again, and im thinking of taking them up on this offer for my 84' Z28. its currently (faded) white right now, and since my Vette is also white i wanted to go with a different color. before i hear the screams that MAACO is $hitty, well, this is my daily driver. it doesnt need to be perfect, and anything is better that how it looks now. so my question is which color i should paint it? i saw a nice looking steel blue 3rdgen the other day and thought that looked nice, and i like the look of the maroon IROCs as well. of course i could always paint it jet black. oh, and for content, do you think id win against a 95' V6 auto Firebird in a drag race?

i am a big fan of the jet black iroc's actually i am considering selling mine and trying to find one. i found an absolutely awesome looking maroon rs with silver stripes, it looked cool as crap, but for that deal that probably isn't possible, oh well.

i dunno bout the race, since ur bro. was driving at the track, u would prob. run a little better, cause u said he spun like crazy and was his first time. i think u maybe able to hang with it, these things are hard to say, unless it's like a 350 vs your everyday rice burner. i say go for it.

White is nice Good sleeper color because people see white and say "oh that can't be fast, only RED IROCs are fast!" Then you blow their doors off and they sit in the corner with their $30k car and cry So my vote goes for keeping it white, or off white, that way you don't have to change GFX either.

Same here. I say go for red, black or purple. Though changing the color of the car might cost more, unless you don't mind having door jams and the such remain unpainted.

i would say be a little different and paint it bright yellow. If thats not your taste then you cant go wrong with resale red.
