Finally got some new pics of my project

I have nearly finished up with all my body mods, maybe thrusday I will get my polished Z28 rims mounted and have them put on the car.I have to can paint my hatch trim"it has some rust and primer on it".I still need to put on my emblems. Enjoy

I polished up my tail lens, and plate lights, and 3rd brake light. I did my side markers too. The pass one was from Socal85tam it was in great condition, but my drv was faded to heck befor I polished it out.

And heres one from my lack luster interior. oh well thats getting fixed soon.

The nose to hood line is not as bad as mine, but still noticible. Other than that, Great Job.

Yeah I havent tried to line it up yet, but adjusting the hood stops probably wont do it. See the hood lines up good with the very far left and right headlight pockets, but just not in the middle. Maybe someone will give us a tip.

Great job, I didn't think it'd look that good without clear coat on it, but it's pretty nice. Hit it with some zaino and make that baby SHINE And when you say Z28 rims, do u mean the 15x7's? What size are the ones on it now? I think they'd look sweet if you just cleaned them up with some Nevr-Dull and cleaned the tires, they look alot better than the stock Z28/RS wheels to me...

Great job, I would say to get those Z28 rims on as fast as you can! Those ones you have on there now look terrible!

HARD TO BELIEVE THAT IS THE SAME CAR!!!!!!!

Looks great man :hail: :hail: :hail: Those IROC Rims would be great, but I wouldn't dip them in crome, crome on our cars is nasty. Anything made after 1970 should not be allowed to have crome wheels IMO.

But I am diggin the Polished IROC rims, I am either getting those or ZR1's not sure yet...

I will eventually get a set of IROC rims for my car, polish the up and have them chromed. Black85TransAm,
When I primed the whole car I sanded down to bare metal and take all the paint off of the gfx's and bumpers. Now if you are gonna have paint put over your current paint I would get rid of any pits, cracks , and chips that are in the paint. When you get your car to the paint shop mask off everything you dont want painted and you should be set.To bad you will miss out on the best part though, theres nothing like painting your own car.

im just saying that crome on our cars is just plain old ugly and really brings the car down. Just my .02

But do whatever you want, its your car. IMO Polished is better.

I'm still undicided on getting the IROCs chromed or not. My main reasons for having them chromed is for easy cleaning, longer lasting shine, and never have to re do them again" until the chrome strips off." But until the time comes I'll wait.

Nice, I really like those rims. I am still undecided about polishing mine or repainting them white. What are you doing for a center cap?

I'd go with chrome too. Nothing can shine like chrome, and the upkeep is 10 times better than polished.

I was at a junk yard today and found chrome caps that said "ralley" on them. They wanted $15 each.

85SportCoupeto89RS, how did you get your front lights that color? I love them. Did you use nightshades by any chance? I've heard about them but haven't seen much of how it looks.

[B]Just a lil confuseed..... I think 98 WS6 Chrome 17x9 wheels look totally awesome on thirdgens..... least on birds... not sure bout Camaro's.. only difference between maro's and gens are front bumper, and rear bumper, and rear 1/4 panels...
anyways.. I think Chrome looks awesome.. I seen Chromed Iroc rims on cars driving down the road on a black Z28, I thought it was Killer!

Hopefully I will get them. They come from an 96 Firebird I believe. The car is impounded and is going up for auction, if Rick gets the car he said I can pull the Black seats and belts .
