I think you mean 82-84 firebird TRANS AM. And after you get that kit you can go and get plastic surgery to look like David Hasselhoff!!!

I almost forgot the hair too!!

I'm just messing with ya, I wouldn't make my car into kitt, even though it is a good candidate, it's just my belief that the nose doesn't look right, not to mention the interior.

uh oh...

Code:
<BGSOUND SRC="http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~dott/midi/KnightRider.mid" LOOP="-1">

Is it me or did the nose not look like the prototype for the 90-92 firebird nose?

actually the first episode had a smooth 82 front with the red lighting. I think it was after that they switched to the bigger front with the goofy foglights. I think that the 91-92 front looks a WHOLE lot better imho because it matches the lines of the hood (maybe pontiac did get an idea for the front from knightrider)

oh yeah, the music was inserted using html code

kinda freaky looking

I'm not sure about sounds, but you can enter background music into a thread by using html code.

just use the CODE tags (# button) and insert:

bgsound src="Myfile.mid" loop="2" with brackets starting and closing it (<>)

You can usually link the midi file to another location much like an image, for example:
http://www.midisound.com/midi.mid - in the location of Myfile.mid

the loop of course is for how many times it loops and a -1 value indicates that it is infinite.

I found this out myself when i wanted to enter the knightrider theme (for those of you that didn't know what it was ) into this thread.

:hail: to knight rider
i can still remember kitts voice.
"michael,are you in trouble?"
"no kitt i was just telling these thugs i had a talking car that could whoop their asses, and they started yelling at me!"
"hold on michal im coming"

I love the knight rider interior, its awsome. But I dont really like the nose. For $10,000 I rather get an evo II kit than a knight rider kit. But knight rider is the bomb, thats what made the thirdgen firebirds famous!:lala: :hail:

I saved them awhile ago when surfing, too bad I can't remember the page, If I find the page I'll post it. I think it was some kitt car website that had a gallery of pics from each episode in pretty good quality.

But for now some more pics! can your car do this??

another pic, you know I was thinking that most kitt car companies reglect to realize that the original kitt had turn signal covers. If you look in the picture you can see them, but when I look at new kits being made by the companies they just make the fibreglass go flush to the headlights. I'm inclined to believe that whoever did the modifications for the original show found that they needed covers in order for the headlights to open properly, or maybe they just used them to cut corners, who knows?

Me too.

I Loved the Knight Rider show and Airwolf. Those were the most kick *** shows besides Miami Vice. I think it would be cool to have a KITT car on the side to take to cruises and to car shows. You know you would gather a crowd, espically if you got a david hassaloff masks or one of those cardboard figures of him and put him riding shotgun or sitting in the car while you showed it. :hail:

I'd rather just have a black mint 82 T/A with PMD's (or recaro) in addition to my 83, but whatever floats your boat.

although the blackouts where cool.

Hell i was pretty young around the knight rider glory days myself but i still remember it, i wish they still showed re-runs And why did they have to go and ruin everything w/ that crappy Knight Rider 2000 movie?? Also, about releasing oil slicks from the back or your car.....i didnt know that was legal in Cali? hehe

USA or FX used to play a whole lot of Knight Rider reruns. The show started taking a nose dive when they had it do the stupid "super pursuit mode" & extend the nose, raise the wing, givev it litttle wings on the side.

And I don't know what you guys are saying about not having reruns. Check out Sci-Fi, channel 62 for me in Southern Mass. THey have reruns like every Saturday around noon. I just watched one yesterday.... Maybe I should record them and sell them here?
