4th gen rims on 3rd gen

I have a 1987 sport coupe. Just got back from a swap meet and got the rims off of a 1996 camaro. The guy said i need spacers. How much would they cost? Where would i get them?. does anyone have pics of what they look like on a third gen?...i was thinking of getting low definition tires.....anywho.....help would be appreciated.

first they are not spacers, the are adaptors. Go to www.skulte.com for any of the adaptor questions, let them know what car and new wheels you are getting and they will tell you the right size. they are really fast on getting back to you with e-mails. that is who i went throught for my front adaptors. for the rear i put in a rear-end of a 1993 Z28, so i wouldn't need adaptors.

more like 150 - 200 a pair.

these aren't the little cheap 1/4" deals that go over your studs, these are actually spacers that bolt onto your stock studs, and then there's another set of studs on the spacers to bolt your 4th gen wheels onto.

You need 1.25" for the rear, 2.25" for the front to be closest to factory backspacing. I personally have 2" all the way around, and it works great.

The skulte pieces are high dollar, but well worth the money to do it right. You won't find a better billet adapter anywhere.

jawsforlife are those 16x8 or 17x9.5?? what size tires also? im looking into getting rims and tires in a month or so and i like those. was also thinking about going with TT II's from american racing or polished IROC i dont know yet. i cant make up my mind. i like the low profile tires on those rims...your car is lowered to isnt it? i just ordered eibach springs and KYB shocks and struts about 10 min ago.
