I think they would look OK on certain 3rd gens, what does your car look like? I went with the Cragars ;cause I love em, and my car is "old school"
it's a 1991 Camaro RS... Z28 High Rise Spoiler... and right now... it is dark blue... with a red door lol... fixing to have 2 red doors... i think a white hood... green fenders... lol... then I'm gettin it painted Mystic Teal with either Ghost Flames... or that Chromalusion color flames

I think they would looke good then , with the mystical teal paint ir the ghost flames, now if yopu threw them on a stock lookin' 85 IROC I think they would look WAY out of place...
Just make sure they are 5 x 4.75 bolt circle, and the correct backspacing (4.5-5.5") before ou buy them, Good luck!

The way your plans sound I think they'd look pretty good on it. But in my opinion, they look a little narrow. I could understand going with them if you're getting a killer deal though. What are they 17x? Looks like 17x7 or so...

Those wheels look better on a truck IMHO. Looks like they are on a Toyota truck right now, like said before, better make sure the will fit you car first.

I am getting a set for the track (Cragar ss rims) they look good with my car. The whole older theme. Solid lifter 355, 69 z-28 style hood, and I am getting stripes and a hurst shifter.
well... they are 5 lugs... i think they would fit on my car... but... i'm not gettin 'em... i dunno somethin bout 'em that i didn't REALLY like... but anywayz... that truck... he traded some 15 year old... for his 1991 Camaro RS... black... grey interior... stock rs rims... good paintjob... one small dent on the front fender... got a bra on the front to cover up some chipping but it was a great trade! haha i think it just needs a new starter and some interior work... but for an 89 dented up non power steerin toyota... with an engine that needed 2 be rebuilt.... i say fair trade!

I've seen those rims on an Iroc and they are sweet. Alot better than sticking Craiger SS rims on it.( And people wonder why thirdgens get a ******* rep.)

Unique Rims
If you want some unique rims, go peep the new Sonoma's... ( either that or the Jimmy) , but either way, they have always had rims that resembled RS rims, ( some that were just 18 inch RS rims ) . At any rate, the new Sonoma has these really unique rims that look like 5 spoke polished 3rd gen rims, but with an inward curve and notches on the wheels. I've seen them all over the place and before I got my C5 rims, I was going to put those on instead. Im pretty confident that they would work too, 5 bolt pattern, might need some spacers but uniqueness among millions of Camaro's. Just my idea.... if anyone has pics of those rims.. post em.

UH OK
And what is on your car? Cragars are THE ONE And ONLY CLASSIC WHEELS, HELL my car is 20+ years old, how "new school" should I try to be, I suppose 13x13 wire spokes would be better? and it's spelled CRAGAR (plural would be CRAGARS) not Craiger, or maybe that is a different POS rim.....

no, Bumpa, you have the newer style "cragar" rim they look like 17's, they look good, I mean the old 14" and 15" from the way way back old school. With giant tires and all. Old style Cragar's belong on a rusty old confed flag in the back window, red neck, wife beater or something. On;y a select few of cars can pull it off with the small SS wheels.

OH OK!
Well I'd agree with you then, 14" or 15" with "oversized" rubber is not a good combo, Looks wise, handling wise, and tracton wise.....

I have those cragars also
I have those same Cragars in my Backyard. They were nice for a while but they look better on classic 1st and 2nd gen camaro's than they do on 3rd gens. Got some C5 rims instead, their bigger ( the cragars were too small) and they give me more traction. Just my opinion.. ( run flats are hard tires though..kinda suck )
