Well the dual snorkel itself was $120. I found it on the internet. The hoses and duct work I got from the local Chevy dealer for around $60. And the plating was $85. Probably more than I had plan to spend originally but I think it turned out pretty nice.

Thanks Bill. I like the clean look of the installation. I think I'll give that a try. I'm having a time finding the actual air cleaner assembly though. Does GM still make it? I've got an article from an old Car Craft on how to make a custom dual snorkel but I'd like to find an L69 first.
Great looking RS also. Really got it shining.

They do not make it anymore. I found mine on the internet. Check with IROCZDAVE. He is a member of the thirdgen site and has his own website selling parts. That is where I got mine. It was in very good shape. See if he can get one for you.
Let me know if you are successful.

I don't know what he does with it either, but I'm one of those guys that everything has to match (left and right) so I like it, or none at all

I took it off. It was in the way of the snorkel. I will find a place for it later. I am up for reinspection in September, so I will have to find a place for it by then. I may have a custom pipe made for it to sit on and just have it in the same place just a little lower if it will fit.

Just everyone wants and arm and a leg! Oh well, supply and demand I guess

That looks excellent !
I have a chrome single snorkel, and chrome cowl induction lid (for my 84). The chrome aircleaner was available from GM (OEM) in 83. GM offered several of their parts in chrome over the shelf.
I have been looking long and hard for an authentic L69 set up for my LG4 (complete w/ all tubing etc)
Anyway, your chrome l69 setup is awsome!
