Pics inside of my new wheels&tires.

well guys here are some pics of my new wheels and tires.. cragar s/s's front and rear..15x7s fron with 235/50/15s and 15x9s rear with 275/60/15s. im currently knee deep in i guess what you could call a restification of this car..im currently in the process of switching interior out, going with gray plastic, and 97 firebrid seats. ill have pics of taht up as soon as im finished. i have 245/60.15s on order for the frotn as they were out of stock on them..but i havent decided if im going to use those or the 235/50s? i kinda like the rake it has going on..and im cutting a coil from each spring tommoroww..too much wheelwell gap. so lemme know what you guys think..

The car looks great! The motor don't look half bad neither! I love the old FB's with Cragar SS's....I guess i'm old school. My '83 T/A came with the 16" GTA cross-laced rims, but if I had the money, i'd throw some Cragar's on there like yours. Nice work.

I love those rims. Probably going with those myself. Do you have the grey pieces for the interior or are you looking? I've got grey from an 87 Iroc.

Hey. I guess it all depends on what you need and where you are. I have:

1 set grey armrests
1 set black armrests
1 set of grey kick panels
1 set grey door sills
1 set grey front seat belts
1 set grey rear lower panels
1 grey back cargo panel
1 set black under dash panels
1 set door panel trim
1 grey hatch panel lower
1 grey hatch panel upper

Also have:
1 set yellow side markers
1 plastic shifter **** (peeled leather off)
1 set of grey door panels (fair condition)

I have the bigger rear pieces (sail panel) but they are almost impossible to ship. UPS won't shipped the oversized boxes I would need to ship. I am pretty sure they are separate from the rear well pieces. If so, I have those too in grey. They are all out of a 1987 Iroc so they have grey carpeting in certain places. Send me an email blueshrt@hotmail.com.

I don't like the rims. The engine is okay, a little too red for my tastes though. But its your car, so if you like it, then

Looks good, but I think that 1 coil would lower it to much. Go a little at a time.

Instead of cutting a coil in the springs, why not just get some 4 cyl or v6 springs?

Better head for the hills, billy lol j/k

I myself would go with the new Cragar SS's in 16X8 with 245/50's on the front and 255/50's on the back. The calssic look is awesome, but the look/performance/handling of 15's is nothing short of useless. Anything running less than 16 inch tires is not handling to its full capability. Obviously you aren't worried about handling. Seems straight line is your goal, but like I said...I myself would have went with 16's and some FAT WIDE rubber.

The engine looks great. The rear end looks a bit high though.

I think he is going for the stink bug look. The 15's are better for hooking up at the track. I love those rims, but I would have painted the motor pontiac baby blue. Or go with a black and crome look. But none the less, it looks great.

Looking at your other posts and pictures of the car, why didn't you take any pictures that show the Recaro seats, hub caps, or door handles? Then there would be no argument. Show more clearer pics if you can; like door jambs, rear seats, door panels, dash panels and the hub cap and door handles. It would remove all doubt.
