Re: Cragar SS's on a 3rd gen
Like say 17" Cragar's? I think that TA looks GREAT, but I do like the 17's better... sorta Modern / Retro on a 20+ year old car

IMO they only look good on Camaro SC's. Anything with ground effects needs a more modern wheel.

Wow, I thought only the 17" Cragar's would look good on Third Gen's but those 15's look sweet *** on the Trans Am. On a High School budget with money going into the engine also, 17" are out of the price range. The 15's run about $110 a piece in Jegs.
yup 117$ + 65$ each tire, 20$ ship tires, 75$ to mount and 20$ for lug nuts, not bad, cost around 800-900 when i was done and i am really happy and get compliments on them all the time!!
And i sold my old rims and tires to offset the price! Aj
Let me know if you like them on my car or want more pics

AJ,
Dont get me wrong, I like the 15" wheels, but I myself would more prefer 17's like the Camaro above has. Your car has a classic look with that setup. That was a 80's thing....

Hey man,,,thanks for the reply, i dont mind what you think, i would have opted for 17's, actually i wanted some difference chrome 17's, but being 17 at the time when i bought them, now 18, going to school full time, playing 2 sports and working 3 jobs, yes 3 jobs to pay insuracne, car payments, save up for 30,000 college next year (Clarkson University) and a steady girlfriend, it was hard to spare the extra 200$ per rim and 100$ per tire, but next time if you wanna help me out with some cash, my paypal account is the same as my email..hahaha, just joking, but yea i agree but money was an issue in my case being 18.
thanks
