Engine pics!!!
if you've got a nice clean engine, stock or modified, post it...
also, i've noticed a lot of under-hoods with the protective black mesh material removed...isn't that there to preotect the hood paint from heat produced by the engine??

Here's mine.. its kinda clean I suppose. It'll look much better with a new coolant tank and some headers.
Heres the one in my sig but a little bigger, its a 360 {a 350 bored .060}
Note the small gauges located where the A/C box used to be, no more peeking inside to see engine status!

Here's a picture of my engine bay. I'm slowly working on improving her looks but other projects have forced me into taking a detour.
A few pictures of the polished plenum:
A picture of the reflection from a spark plug:
The difference of of what it used to look like compared to the plastic cover:
I will be getting the aluminum one shortly if I don't sell my car by then. Looking to switch to a supercharged Mercury Cougar

My engine died... Ive got to go back to the pet shop and get a replacement....Oh how I loved Duke......he will be missed. This is what happens when you neglect your engine. I forgot to check the fluids and it died.

Here are my pics from a few days ago. I still have to put the harness, distributer and computer in. I've really got to get ceramic coated headers too.

:hail: LBSZ28BLOWN :hail: You have the cleanest car, the cleanest engine bay, and the cleanest "to die for" garage I have seen. Nice work! Your car is awesome! Did you buy it new? It is spotless, looks fantastic under the hood.
OK guys, here is a pic of mine:

Here's the mighty (messy) 305! I haven't done anything to clean it up yet. Soon though, soon.

lb: I know I have said it before but you are is the most amazing on this site. Too me at least. You have all the mods that I want to do on my vert. The only difference is I want to go with the ATI P-1SC. But I want to do the large tube runners, and 17" silver ZR1s. I have my Jamex STB that I painted up last night. Hopefully that will be going in soon.
Again unbelievable... of course I can only say that when I am work cause my car might hear me at home and get jealous.

THANKS GUYS,
The car was stock up to a couple of years ago, then I found this site and that was what did it for me.
This summer I'm swapping out the heads for some ported aluminum units, New SLP 1 3/4 Headers, and some 17X11 SS wheels with 315x35x17 tires on the back.
My goal is a mid to low 12sec. 1/4
Thanks again

This is right after the new radiator mount, right before the new MSD ignition system. So in other words, a week ago today.
