GTS went bankrupt like 5 months ago, so you wont be able to buy them through stores. Check out auto vent shade company, they make some decent blackouts.

 

wow are you serious?, i just got a brand new pair of the taillight blackouts off ebay for $42.

 

Yeah well at our auto parts store, they sent us a notice by fax that we would no longer be carrying their products because they went bankrupt. We now carry Auto Vent Shade Company blackouts. Exact same thing.

 

mine are AVS and seem to be good,. they stick on nice and tight and come with a cover for the license plate you could use at shows or something, other than that i don't think its legal

Must not be all stock then.. you can't tell me your BONE STOCK 305 AUTO runs what a 350 does. Again .. 305's just arent that fast stock. I would believe you if u said like 15.5 or soemthing.. but 14 is too fast for a stock 305

 

My buddys 88 305 TPI ran something like 14.7 Bone stock. He did a few mods and he's super close to breaking into 13's currently.

and jet chip
but the chiop was added yesterday its so much faster!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had some bad luck with blackouts on my IROC...

Over the course of the past 6 months, I've had 2 sets of blackouts stolen off my car. The first occasion, they managed to steal 1 cover and break the other... just last week.. they managed to get both of em off... and I'll tell ya, I'm gettin' pissed off.

My first set were AutoVentshades... they were cool, but kinda pricey (about $75.00). My second pair was GTS (my favorite), and I got em for $45.00 from JEGS.

Currently I have my 3rd set on order from JEGS, Wade brand is the only one I could get from em, so I hope they're decent ($59.00), but they are currently on back-order.. so you won't be able to get em for like 2 weeks...

Anyway, I haven't seen the Wade blackouts, but so far.. my fav has been GTS...

Man after that many times I would take them off where ever I go or something. I've seen ppl actually screw them in at the top, but when I get mine I will take them off whenever I go somewhere with a lot of people.

That place has headlight and tail light blackouts for third gens, pretty cheap too last time I checked.

 

thats one nice 'maro i give it a 8.5 out of 10, i'd love to get one of those high rise spoilers but they are too damn expensive.

Just added the front blackouts yesterday. Already had the back. Man does it look sweet. Sorry no pics yet but real soon. With my new fogs in the grill and the blackouts on th front of a Black third gen it looks really good. I would think your would look good also. Better screw them in with you running those fast times they just might fly off. I got a 305 too, and if I get to 14 sec anything I will be real happy. don't sweat the small stuff man, your car looks good and that is all that matters.:lala:
