Flex Braid Hose Covers

I got a set of flex braid hose covers and they look pretty simple to put on but i want to make sure theres not something ill forget to do. I want them to turn out looking good on my enigne. Any ideas would be great.

i used these on my motor, all i did was wrap the ends of the steel with duct tape, (small enough that the clamp would cover it) on both ends,make sure u pull the sleeving tight to the hose for a nice fit. and that should be all . they are easy to install if you take your time, and do a nice job.

just go into jegs i think it is and order the spectra braded hose line kit and it also replaces alot of ur hoses. the kits like 126.99 and i got the fuel line and heater hose on my carnow and look great. all u do is take the old hoses offand put these on.

Ill probly do that with my firebird that maybe one day ill get to drive 68 firebird 400 cant cant wait to fire that up and build it to a 455 I mean i paied 10 bucks for the braided hose set i cant go wrong with that.

I started to put those on my engine. The braided covers look out of place on my engine because there are only a few hoses I can put them on (upper radiator hose and heater hose). With everything else being black, the few braded hoses look crappy. The next time I get a chance I'm gonna take the ugly things off. They might look better on a car with more hoses, more chrome, etc.
