I have been contemplating the Paint Scheme possibilities of 2-Tone Paint for 3rdGen's.

Does anyone have any Firebird/Trans Am's with 2-Tone color scheme's? I was thinking of Painting my 82 TA like the 83 Pace Car, but I want something else rather than Black on the bottom. I want to keep the top White so I don't have to Paint the Engine area a different color.

Any help or idea's would be great!

 

Do a search, this same topic was just posted a day or two ago...

 

It's not black for the lower color. It's a charcoal metallic. Don't ask for close-ups of that color because my car needs paint real bad...

I thought that it was black, hmmm. I need to get some detailed pics on it. It should look ok if I did paint it black on the bottom.

how about white with silver or gold GFX?

 

Black on the lower half wouldn't be bad. As you can tell, my car's lower paint does appear to be black... but that's because it hasn't been taken care of in the last who-knows-how-many years by the previous owner. The places I've used touch-up paint on look very nice.
I like two-tone paint jobs, the silver/black anniversary corvette (Mako Shark body style, forgot the year of it...) paint scheme is my favorite! I'm gonna repaint my T/A in the factory colors, though.
