Changing interior parts?

Hey everyone. I havent had a chance to post here much. I need a lil help, since im still learning my car. I have an 88 2.8 liter camaro. When I got the car it had red interior. I'm painting the car deep purple there fore changing the red interior to grey. I have removed and sold pretty much all the old. There is a car place in my area who have a third gen Firebird. I'm looking to buy the door panels, carpet, seat belts, head liner, and all plastic pieces for 100.00. Here's my question will third gen Firebird interior parts fit my third gen camaro? I know the speaker area looked a little bigger or I could have looked at it wrong. Someone please let me know what they think or know I feel this is a good deal and I dont wanna miss out on it..

I can't say with any certainty but I expect so. The reason I posted a reply is because, strangely enough, MY camaro has a red interior, and has been painted purple!

I'm changing mine to black and tan tho.

Sorry I'll go away now

Si

omg omg... your car is purple.. Its my favorite color.. My car is grey right now on the outside. I'm going to get the ASCD aftermarket big block hood, I think that will look wonderful purple. My car was 150.00 minus the rims and tires. The people I got it from wanted to keep those. I got my rims for 125.00. The place im getting my interior off of is the saw place i got a brand new fender for 65.00. Their great people to work with. I've also took my husbands z28 exhaust from his 95 camaro and put it on my car and I got the stock tips off someone. I just love the way they look. I'm all about buying stuff when its at a deal. I just wanted to make sure it all fit. I'm sure if I selled these piece on ebay I would get tons more out of them then what I paid.

The only plastic pieces that don't swap between Camaros and Birds are any pieces associated with the dash, like the dash pad and the underdash panels. I bought a set of underdash panels from a Bird and spent half an hour trying to put in the passenger side, then compared it to a Camaro one I had.... didn't match up.

Everything you mention should match up. Oh, I have a rear speaker area panel from a Bird in my Camaro.

They will all swap perfectly, but the dashes are two different types. So you should be able to do it. go for it, and post some pictures of your finished ride. Should look awesome.

Best of luck
