EXTREMELY BAD PAINT PROB...I feel sick..

All the work i put into this car............the last owner did body work and primed it grey.........soo...when i'm looking at the car.. IT LOOKS PERFECT!!!!! no warp no rust nothing... ready for paint....

I took it to my buddies house to have it painted extremely deep purple...............

OMG..... THE WHOLE CAR LOOKS LIKE THE GUY FEATHERED OUT ALL THE KNICKS AND THE BODY WORK WAS BUMPY....AND LUMPY....it looks sooo sick... it's sooo embarrassing............

My work on this car..and all the money spent .. is now for nothing.....

i'm not good at body work...so i dont believe i can repair all this..

what should I do?

the only thing i guess that could be done is to sand the whole car to bare metal...with a right angle grinder..................!!!

thats going to take forever...................................

is there maybe a color that would hide this better?.... i mean i was looking for a car to go to car shows with.........and THERES CIRCLES FROM WHERE THIS GUY FEATHERED OUT STUFFF..ALL OVER...

any suggestions please............

i don't even think i can sleep....

Rob

Yup, paint will show all the flaws. Good luck with it man, hopefully you get it taken care of.

Oh **** man!!!!! Damn it.........I feel your pain buddy...crap.
Well, I don't know what to tell you. Start to shop around some body shops and see what they charge to take out the imperfections.
Also, you may want to consider painting it white. Whit hides many imperfections.

Good luck bro.

Oh, I'm so sorry!

Go try to find a shop that'll help you. I feel yo pain. I'd be upset, too.

Try to get some sleep at least, then when you have the chance just start going to shops and see what can be done.

Good luck.

When I was 17 I decided to try to do all the bodywork on my '85 Camaro myself. I busted my a$$ all summer to get it ready for school in the fall & I thought it all looked pretty good going into the paint booth. But, such was not the case after it got painted. Primer is VERY deceiving, and unfortunately sometimes we all gotta learn lessons the hard way. Best of luck with whatever you decide....you might just want to paint it, sell it & try again on another car. Sorry dude.
