Just take yours apart and spray them with some niteshade on the inside. Looks sweet.

I didnt buy that hatch. They made 604 GTAs in 1988 with this notchback as an option. This is an original hatch but they make after market ones. The after market ones do not look the same. If you can get one buy it cuz it's very rare. They made one notchback in 1989.

Im in the process of putting in my new 383 stroker. I just blew like 8 grand on the motor, pulley system, stall and valve covers. My car is so dirty cuz its been sitting for months but ill post some of these old pics and my engine. When its done ill be sure to get you new pics. All the good motor pics are too big to attach. Heres a couple. I also attched my other toy---R6. Wish they looked better!!

Don't take offense to this but it looks as if you have a stock harmonic balcancer and that is not a good thing if your runnin a stroker and especially if you have changed the pistons and rods.
Looks good man, is that a victor jr I see.
Where did eight thousand go ?
I built the 440 for my '73 D100 which is a real beuty for 4K.
That's whith a set of indy 440 S/R heads that's stayin until I can get a set of B2's,fully balanced forged crank (Stock),Eagle forged steel rods,Full comp cams roller valve train(Shaft roller rockers rule)829-16 roller lifters,Mopar Pushrods(stock length),Edelbrock Performer RPM intake,Race demon carb(those things are beautiful),weigand linkage kit, moroso 8quart pan(rear sump),Carter F.pump, mopar windage tray, hooker super comps, rest of exaust was custom but here it goes after header 45degree manderl bends tocustom fabricated X-pipe,then 45 degree bends to stainless steel edelbrock mufflers.7AL-3 MSD ignition , MSD Billet distributor, MSD HVC-2 Coil, and that's about the basics and guess what that cost me roughly five thousand dollars and that's a big block and on top of that a mopar which parts for a little expensive. ohh and Stupid ****kin me, I got a fluiddampr 7-1'2 inch,
But you did a stroker and that machine work can get pricey.
but where did all that money go if it's just the engine?

Its not just the engine. All parts are new but block. Its a pioneer balancer. You price out the parts and tell me what you get. 4340 Eagle nitrided crank, JE forged 11.5:1 pistons, Clevitte bearings, 3D Eagle forged rods(about $2000), Lunati roller Cam with lifters and install ($650), pro magnum comp roller rockers($260), 4130 High tech comp pushrods($150), Ferrea 2.08/1.6 valves($??), Moroso 7qt pan($130), victor Jr intake(port matched to heads)($175), Dart Pro 1 230cc aluminum heads bare ($850), Holley 750 double pumper($380), pioneer flywheel, BSP checkered flag valve covers with gaskets($110). 8 grand also includes new March performance pulley kit MCH-22060 with new power steering pump($635), New polished stewart stage II water pump($280), New TCI super street fighter 3600 high Stall converter with anti-balooning plates($490). I dont think you will come up with a better price. All these parts are new except block. complete assembly and balance included. Engine has lifetime labor warrantee on all repairs. I get 6110 plus 85 for SPC copper collector and header gaskets, valve cover wingnuts and gaskets
Total $6195 not including labor balancing and warrantee!!!
GODD DEAL or what??

Ya GTAbadboy that is a pretty good deal!
It's funny cause I've built three motors of my own two of them being R/B mopar blocks and the 390 for my up coming Javelin project but I'm building my first GM engine right now and that's my P.O.S 305.
They are generally the same just clearances are alittle different and the valve train is stud mounted not shaft mounted rocker arms.
I'm gonna post up a picture of what an AMC Javelin looks like so you guys can get an idea.
