New appearance mod I'm playing w/

A while back I had clear front headlight covers and sombody stole one of them. So i was left w/ one clear headlight cover. so i cut it to size and this is what i came up with.

The car is dirty, I know, and the cover had my grubby finger prints all over it but this is just to give you guys an idea.

Nice..

now if someone could make that all once peice... and then shine it up REAL good. It would look sweet. Then one could put some sort of weather stripping on it so no moisture would get in the inside. Voila... easier to clean car. Getting around that licence plate is a pain in the ***, and everything gets stuck in there...

stupid dirt.

I have the switch. Plus it takes 2 sec to take the middle part out.

How the heck do you take it out if you wanna use the key? It looks like it's in there pretty good... and if not, aren't you worried about it falling off?

OMG thats funny, it would work too.

It's hard to show in pictures but in stead of having a hole where the licence plate is, it make it all flat. This might help to explain it.

It's actually a good idea how it's in there... I used the existing brackets from when it used to be a headlight cover, and put them on the sides of the blackouts. so this piece slides right in. Then then I close the hatch and it snugs it in there.

Look outside your window.

I agree with Metalli on this one, I don't really see the point of it being clear, but maybe in person it looks better.

Well a mouse seems more appropriate to me considering that you have a smallblock and not a big block but that's if you wanna be all politically corect about it.
Looks pretty good but what would be cool is one that is tinted but there would be a light behind it so you could see the plate and so the cops could see it too.
Right now I'm looking for firebird taillight blackouts but I'm not sure where to find them.
Anyone know wheren I can get them?
