lug nuts for 91 RS camaro w/ the z28 rims

i need to replace the brakes pads but i can't get the wheels off because there is no key for the lugs. i went to the chevy dealer ship today and they told me they don't make the keys for the lugs. is that true? how do i get the wheels off?

I really hate when that happens!! The only way I've seen to get the locks off is to use an impacy gun w/a socket that you won't/don't need, because you'll have to bang the socket onto the lug til it's flush w/the rim and zip it off w/the gun. Good luck!

you can buy a wheel lock removal kit to get the locks off. not foresure how much they cost, but i would say they are a little expensive. most tire stores can get them off for you if you want to pay a little money, probably 5.00 or so a wheel. you can use a chisel and a hammer to spin them off, if you have room to get to the lock, or you can do what tonyrodz said, use an old socket and hammer it on to get them off with a breaker bar. make sure its a tight fitting socket. if that works, you will have to hammer on the socket to get the lock out of it. hope this helps.
