Well do you wanna drop it so it looks cool or do you really want it to handle better? If you just want to lower it more, cutting the spring would be the cheapest way but like other people have said, it not the proper way to make the car handle better. Anyone I know with cut springs has a very very bouncy unsafe ride (mostly ghetto import ppl).

If you really want to make the car handle better, it's gonna be alot more expensive than you want to pay. I know because I just ordered a gang of parts. There's alot of other parts you need to consider as well like lower control arms, lca relocation brackets, the panhard bar, as well as other stuff thats not NEEDED but helps alot. When you lower the car it might lean a bit to one side so thats why they make the adjustable lca's and panhard bars. They allow you to even the car out. Full suspension for my B4C is over $2000 US. But hey it all depends on what you want. If you're not racing and stuff then just doing the springs should be fine.

As far as the actual drop, if you want a mild drop then go with the Eibach Pro springs (1"), medium drop go with the Sportlines (1.75"), but if you want maximum drop then you'll need to save up for the coilovers. I'm hesitant to recommend coilovers though because from what I've read and heard, the setup from Ground Control is really hard on the geometry of the 3rd gen suspension and might cause adverse effects over time. Add that together with Ground Control's so-so reputation with the import community and I wouldn't do it myself. But Revlimit did it and I've seen him drift with the coilovers and nothing bad happened at all. So I might just be paranoid. You should PM Rev and see what he thinks about the coilovers. When I rode with him you can definately feel more bumps in the road but its not that bouncy. And it seems like it had less body roll.

another question

I am loking at that ground control page. IT says it is a coil over but the picture looks like just a spring... thre is no strut that I can see.

Am I correct and thinking this is not a coil over strut conversion?

Thanks for your help:hail: :hail: :hail:
