goobegone should work. i doubt it will harm your paint. i used it on my elcamino before i washed/waxed it fromthe tape i used to mark off the hood and there was no harm done.

Goof Off is the stuff...used it to take duct tape goo off of an RX-7..good for paint, bad for the goo. =D

Don't waste your money on that stuff. I took the adhesive off my tail lights from the double sided tape I used for my blackouts. By far the best I've ever used. Here's a pic.

correct me if i am wrong but isnt goobegone a 3m product anyway? i am not at home so i cant look at my bottle but i thought it was. oh well it works just as well. warm water works too just let it soak and rub off with your finger nail. it all works just as well.
