window tint???

I just installed my 2 12" kickers and amp up on the top rack of the trunck(on top of the gas tank). I need to get them tinted fast before it gets jacked. Is it legal to get them tinted dark enough to where they cant see in? Right now I am keeping my window cover over it, but im sure that the amp isnt getting enough air under there.
Thanks

You can tint your rear window as dark as you wish, the sides are a different story.

Tint laws differ from state to state. Call your local PD, they'll know.

In Minnesota you can only tint the sides 50%, Who decides these laws? The back you can have as dark as you want.

Dont always trust what some cop says.........

Your local library has copies of the State laws.......go there and look it up yourself......I even made a copy of law and keep it in my car......

Yeah it varies from State to State. In Hawaii the max is 29.5% but I tinted my B4C 5% black on the windows and rear hatch and 50% on the windshield. If I get a ticket then I'll just pay it and think of it as a 'Soundsystem Protection Tax'. Just like when I get recon tickets its a 'Hotrod Tax'.
