I just past the permit test today. I couldn't drive my thirdgen yet because the paint still isnt dry!!! So i had to drive the 4th gen.. I drove to a big cruise in about 50 minutes away and had a blast!! here's some pics!!

Darn, and you had to drive an SS. Good thing your parents started you out driving that instead of a Civic, cause I dont' think you could handle the power just startin out.

 

Its a 1999 hugger orange ss/slp 6 speed, t-tops and white leather. Those options make it one of 22!!. Its got the loudmouth exhaust, aftermarket computer, new MAF sensor,slp subframe connectors, strut tower brace, ls1 motorsport airbox with a k&n. It's a blast to drive!!

 

The power of the ls1 is amazing. I drove home from the dmv and got rubber through 3rd gear without even trying!!!!!

 

I could do the same thing on my Huffy. Haha, just not a big fan of the LS1. Grats on test

 

Damn that sux you had to drive the SS Good job passing the test and sweet 4th gen.

hows the white leather holding up?
i got it in my 98 Z, and its a ***** keeping clean, or from fading

 

I have to have a parent. My dads sitting right next to me!! The white leather is holding up fair its starting to wear a small bit where the seatbelt rubs it.. I have a 1986 z-28 with 31,000 miles... its a prety nice car but it like night and day difference driving it and the 4th gen!!!

 

I wish I would be forced to drive a 4th gen... BTW, congrats on the test.
