4 All those with the PS2'S
You can use brackets to mount it under the dash on the passenger side......You the screws that are already there....
I personally have it mounted in between the 2 rear seats.......easy access for me......plus if there are people back there.....make them do it.....also no need to buy extension cables and the such......
Well here's a pic of my in-dash

you guys may not agree, but I know it adds to the effect you get from people at shows .... a great "wow factor"
and anyway, he didnt ask for opinions, he asked where to put it.

lol, you got me figured out, actually F&F is in that stack though, but Gone in 60 seconds is way better.
FLYINLOW, just FYI, on your sig, you misspelled 'homepage'.
It actually has alot of uses: Traffic Jams, Long rides, waiting in the car, car shows, keep the backseat drivers quiet........good excuse to be alone with a girl in your car

Screw that, while in my car with my girl (ex) it was understood that any word other than "faster" was going to be heard as "bla bla bla.." . My car was not built to get chicks, nor for chix in general. They can ride, but other than "faster" the only thing thats really going to turn my attention might be " lemme sick your duck" ... . No need to mess up the interior of the car if you've got an apartment though. Additionally, chix do not add horsepower, they just put **** in front of driving skill and concentration and you get stupid at the track. Their are those obvious exceptional nights t-tops down cruising in a hot summer night in the desert away from the city lights, then its all good
. Ultimately though I would prefer to cruise with a buddy, we can sit in a comfortable silence and enjoy the ride without distractions. Hence this picture is entitled "driving enjoyment"
(and no, I don't have a 3 foot lip, its my buddys chin)
Marinate on that for a minute.

Not in all states, and that law goes out the window if it has a master switch on it. Which mine does.
and you do know it's illegal for the driver to be able to see the screen right?
It's not illegal if it is for the following uses.....
- Navigation
- Safety (Camera, etc.)
- Law Enforcement
- Information Display
Hence the LCD screens in the new lexus.......laptops in cop cars.......screens for back-up cameras......
And yeah i have already gotten a $44 ticket for the ones in my sunvisors......(Sold for some leather seats in the car)
Depending on how much mod you want to do you can flush-mount a ps 2 in front of the pass seat. It is easier on Birds cause you can remove the map pocket and just build a trim. But if you are detirmined enough with a Camaro it can be done. I did it in my Formula with my six-disc cd changer.
The far most passenger vent gets sacrificed though!

How, the ECU and various other electronic boxes that do hell knows what are back there. I barely had enough clearence for a 1/2" thick LCD screen... it HAD to go where it is. couldnt go left or right at all. Then if you go back another 6" or 7" your hitting the firewall.
I took the pocket out entirely and cut the plastic behind it. The ECU i just had to shift towards the pass door about an inch and there was a couple of other modules that I had to relocate. Then the vent duct work right behind the plastic that I cut had to be cut out as well. I just blocked off the pass vent so that it wouldn't blow into my changer. It just took a little massaging but it all fit. The PS2 isn't alot bigger than my changer and my old changer was bigger than the one that I have now and it fit just fine. I then just manufactured some brackets to hold the changer in place. I just take the dash pad off and the pass speaker out to access the brackets. One into the plastic that also holds the speaker the other into the fire wall itself.

Do you guys with the PS2s in your rides have difficulty turning the power on. Even when My PS2 is next to my TV it is still a hassle to reach around to turn it on. I guess it would be cool to play games while your waiting in the car.
Its a custom job done by a stero shop.......
Ill see if the price can be lowered for a big order if people are interested.......once again ill get a final word when i get back to my computer....
