looks tight...but i think it would look better with a high rise spoiler, and maybe some rims.

Its stock!

Ever hear the term "walk softly and carry a big stick"?

That means look clean and look good, but also look stock and kick some azz when you line 'em up...

If you look at my car it looks stock, but you may take note that the paint isn't the stock color, its a few shades off with pearl added. If you look at some of the mods I've done for the car to run high 13's basically still all stock you will see that everything is subtle and planned out.

I like the stock uncluttered lines of a Camaro so I chose to leave it stock looking,. Wait until i add a few things over the winter and it runs low 12's on motor, still while opening the hood and looking completely stock.

Looks killer, but nothing to get excited over. I'm a Firebird driver, but I like Camaros as well. Since it seems that you prefer more of a stock look right now, I think a billet aluminum front grill would grab some attention.

uhhhh ... no ....

I dont understand why you would post pics of a stock Camaro asking what people think about it? It looks like everyone elses Camaro. I mean the only reason I could see is if you had a before picture of it all messed up and you restored it. Nothing special about a stock looking car. Sorry to offend anyone. If you had a pic with the hood open to show some engine mods then I could understand .... but the car is stock?

Tell that to scottmoyer or raptoryfm660r, there's nothin wrong with a stock thirdgen, at least our cars look good original, and better when kept clean.

And there is something to be said for a car from this generation that still has a clean paint job. I've seen too many of our cars that are faded and nasty looking.

Props to badass - Nice looking car!

PS - don't put a highrise spoiler on it. Go for the sleeper look.

I'm not saying anything is wrong with our cars. Of course they look good. Why you think I own two of them? I'm just wondering why this was posted. I've never seen any other messageboard dedicated to a car where people post pics of stock cars and ask what ppl think. Its a given what people think. I guess I really need to get used to the fact that our cars are old and one that still looks in good condition is better than one thats all messed up ... I guess?? Who knows ....

Older STOCK TA's ar the best. My 84 took first place over the weekend in the stock 81-86 category. Hope top take 1st next weekend as well. I like your cars with mods, but there is somthing to be said for a car that looks like it did the day it rolled of the showroom floor.

Well its clean... someone could post a pic of a stock Camaro that was a pile of crap. Then I wouldn't see the point in the post. Maybe he just needs to boost his ego- everyone likes compliments on their car.

I'm glad that there are stock looking thirdgens out there. I like variety. Some people like the classic taste of bubble gum, but others may like it in cherry, strawberry, grape, etc. If a customized IROC were to park next to a completly stock looking IROC, one could more easily see what the owner of the customized IROC did to his/her ride.

So bad@ss89camaro, don't let other people bother you when they say "so what, it's stock." It looked good cool in stock form when it came out of the factory and it still looks good stock looking today. Although some new wheels wouldn't hurt. If you have a powerful motor you may want to pound the pavement with some wider rubber.

All stock

My car is completely stock, and I love it that way. I like what a lot of people, here on the board, have done to their cars, and some of them are quite attractive.

Personally, I just like the look of a clean Camaro. And while my car is only a Sport Coupe, I'm sure it grabs at least a few admiring looks, seeing as how it's one of the best looking in my area.

The other Camaro's around here will certainly have competition when I get my car back from the paint shop this week!

I've yet to see the SS Hood on a car with no spoiler.....I don't think that combo would look to good, (unless you have a vert)....anyways I don't think the SS Hood is very "sleeperish", in fact I think it is almost the exact opposite of being a "sleeper"...whatever you do be sure to show us some pics!

If a sleeper is what you were going for then a sleeper you have. I like the P.O.S. sleepers. It makes getting beat by those a hundred times worse than a non stock looking car.

car looks great as is.dont put one of those ugly spoilers on it.The aftermarket hoods are ugly and match nothing on the cars, great if your going to a car hood show. The chrome or billet grill, yeh that would flow nicely with the rest of the car, not. It seems that if you dont spend a fortune and pyle on a bunch of crap then its not nice here or not worth posting. And the chrome rims idea is just old and worn out.To get your car noticed here you will have to add all the stuff mentioned and make your car look like everyone elses here, then its cool.In fact if you buy one of those big, ugly out of place looking hoods then all will be fine.your car is clean and looks well taken care of.I think some people here spend to much time bolting on stuff just to make thier car look like the others.here stock is differant.

i have to put something because if i remember right if i put a engine carb and air cleaner then its not going to fit to good with the stock hood
