More pics of my '92 Z28 (not dial-up friendly) includes engine and interior

FINALLY!!! I finished cleaning my engine compartment to dealer showroom condition! First I used engine foam. Then I used the orange degreaser. Then I used the detailer.

I make it sound so bad! But my engine was actually in mint condition before I washed it, just a little dirt here and there hehe! There's some exterior pictures and interior pictures too!

For such a mint car why do you have to have a bar to hold up the hood ?

Nice car, i feel so TPI impared. They look all mean polished up uner the hood. My car has a habit of getting me to spend money on parts that i can do without, but feel so good having ..

Hood shocks are roughtly 25 bucks a piece at a local unnamed auto parts store. Just gotta specify if you got a steel hood or aluminum usually.

Hint : Use a magnet!!!

LOVE the car... interior needs some help though. the cheap walmart seat covers, steernig wheel cover and cheesy floor mats have to go. Sorry to sound harsh I don't mean that I mean your car is great, just they make the car look like it's driven by a 40 yr old overweight lady with three yappy dogs in the passenger seat.

clean-up the old interior and steam clean it... get 4th gen seats if you must but get rid of the cheeze, hehe.

polished wheels would make the outside standout soooo much more too...

I'm just nit picking cuz i'm a perfectionist.

nice car

Just so you know, the last thing I need to do is steam clean the interior. My interior is in mint condition. I still have the original floormats from the car unused (never ever inside the car even!).

I just put that **** on to protect the seats and steering wheel from any damage. That's all.

They might look cheesy in the pictures, but it looks kinda cool in real life. I took the car to the show a couple of days ago and everybody loved my interior.

Did anybody notice the blue LED light that goes back and forth on my rearview mirror? Looks like nothing but a dot on these pictures, but it is such an eye grabber, I always get people asking me about it. NIGHTRIDER!

I've seen those seat covers in real life.. they are ugly. As is the floor mat and steering wheel cover. If you just want them to protect the floor and seats, plain grey or black would be much better looking IMO. But sweet car anyway

go with a set of headers if ya want your engine compartment to really shine. Those manifolds with the A.I.R. crap are useless. Get some headers that dont allow those A.I.R. tubes and get rid of some of your smog stuff, more hp just from removing the smog crap.

The LED light is made by a company called VARAD. There is alot of garbage out on the market, but this one isn't. I bought it at a flea market for $55 Canadian.

You can get it at most other places for around $70 Canadian. Make sure it's varad though. The red one is like $20 mainly because the blue one is 100x brighter.

You can get them at many car places. Alot of audio places sell em. Here in Toronto any store I go to has them for sale.

I just hooked it into my fusebox so it runs all the time.

Good looking car man! 3rd Gens always look good in blue. I fully understand you wanting to keep the original interior pieces in good a shape as possible. One thing I would suggest is to find a good deal on some 4th gen seats and use those and store your others. Since there are more and more 4th gens finding there way to salvage years, you can probably get a full set for under $300. I have a near mint black interior in my IROC and I am saving up for some 4th Gen TA leather seats or GTAs.
Second, is your car a factory A/C delete car? Is it a radio delete? If your car has a 305 in it, it is not a 1LE or B4C but I am curious.

I got T-ROOFS if you didn't notice too! Therefore it can't be a 1LE

your car looks to be quite clean and in great condition.......far from mint mint mint though.

beautiful car all the same at least on the outside..........

i completely understand the need to keep things in nice shape and take care of them. as far as the car show thing goes; either they weren't old enough to drive or didn't want to hurt your feelings. while it is your car and your intended to make it your own you shouldn't get upset when people give you their opinion.........

everyone has been there before at one time or another; some of us just learn faster than others!! take care of her, definately nice.

umm hmph oooh urgh (splurt) whoah groan pant mmmgh nggggng rrrrur hup mumph (splidge)

DAMN DAMN SEXY CAR!:hail: :hail: :hail: :hail:

GM got it spot on with the 90 - 92 Camaro, and Firebird!

What did they put in the water? I want some!!!!!!!!

I have to put up with faking interest in crappy little euroboxes, because it is socialy un acceptable not to in the UK (I draw the line at hondas) but when i climb into my camaro and hear the V8 fire up the world seems OK again!

VTEC = Very Tame Engined Car!, i think this sums up all euro cars

I think mine's pretty cool, but i got a way to go to match you!

just a warning about the seat covers my mom put seat covers in her 86 trans am a while back and she ended up ruining her seats . the covers actually wore spots in the seat that looked almost like a burn and her interior was mint when she put them on.
